Time Management Should Be Taught At Students - 2480 Words
Time Management From preschool to twelfth grade individuals are guided by their teachers and mentors; however, in college most of the work is dependent on themselves. Once a student enters college, they quickly begin to realize that they spend less time in classes then they did in high school. Many students begin to struggle because of this reason because they are so immune to having a mentor guide them and remind them when assignments are due. Professors may do that as well, but once a person hit college they are are now an ââ¬Å"adultâ⬠and one should be fully aware to manage his/ her time. Time management does not only have to be used for school work; managing time is important when coordinating daily activities. This bring to the table that time management should be taught to students entering college in order to succeed. Students should adapt management skills because it will help one accomplish his/ her goals and be successful. Primarily, managing time can help one become very successful , and this is a no brainer. Procrastination is a huge issue with most people, and this can be fixed by simply making a schedule on when assignments are due. Marking down future test dates is also very crucial, and making a schedule for test can encourage one to study a week or two in advance to insure total success on the exam.
